The second RTCC golf day took place at Kirby Muxloe Golf Club last weekend. The weather was perfect, the course was in great condition and by the look of the scores the golf was half decent too.

19 teams of 4 took part in a 4 ball Texas scramble team event, raising a tremendous £1100 for the cricket club.

Winners on the day and retaining their title were Zak Baileys team. Next year we may have to investigate their “official” handicaps.

Overall, a huge success. Thanks to Kirby Muxloe Golf Course for being excellent hosts and a big thanks to Matt Hallam for organising such a good and popular event. Maybe 100 golfers next year!
